What sports do we specialize in treating?
The honest truth is that we have seen it all and each season of the year tends to dictate the sports injuries we see the most. Ankle and elbow pain from racquet sports as well as foot and knee pain from running tend to pop up in the spring and early summer as the weather warms up. Summer leading into Fall yields more knee, shoulder, foot and back injuries from running, cycling, baseball, soccer, and golfing and swimming. Then various injuries from volleyball, basketball, hockey, skiing and snowboarding crop up from Fall to Winter.
Our Treatment Method:
From sprains and strains to more severe injuries, we provide comprehensive rehabilitation to get you back in the game.
We start with a detailed assessment to determine the root cause of your pain and injury to then develop a targeted plan of treatment.
We use a combination of hands-on Manual Therapy, acupuncture and Gunn IMS / dry needling (with your consent of course!) to reduce pain/inflammation and increase mobility and function.
We provide a tailored exercise treatment plan based on your specific needs, goals, and activity levels that is progressed over the course of your treatment. This focuses on building strength, flexibility and balance to return you to your specific sport.
We also provide education and training to help you avoid future injuries and enhance your athletic performance.
